Raising awareness is important because annually as many as 10 percent of older adults in the U.S. are abused or neglected, but over 90 percent cases go unreported.
Show your support on June 15 by wearing purple, learning the signs of abuse, and knowing how to take action against it. Our Protecting Elders Against Abuse brochure provides information for monitoring, identifying, and reporting abuse. Be sure to take a look and share with others. Protecting elders is up to all of us!
