Luis A. Lugo Appointed Chief Executive Officer by LACERA’s Boards
On February 4, LACERA’s Boards of Retirement and Investments appointed Luis A. Lugo as LACERA’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Mr. Lugo has held executive positions at LACERA since July 2021, initially joining as Deputy CEO, then serving as Acting CEO since March 2025.
In his executive roles at LACERA, Mr. Lugo has leveraged his experience in administration and operations across the public, private, and healthcare sectors to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, strengthen organization performance, and advance key strategic priorities.
