Long-term care (LTC) insurance can help you plan or pay for personal care that you may need as a result of a disability or long-term illness.
A one-hour workshop via Zoom is offered on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. to go over the LTC insurance program. To make a reservation, call 626-818-2673 and leave your name, phone number, and email address. A LTC insurance coordinator will contact you with a link to the virtual workshop and also assist with any technical or log-in issues.

Public Safety Officer LTC Payments
Eligible public safety officers who wish to have LACERA make direct payments to their LACERA-sponsored long-term care plan must contact the carrier directly to authorize the necessary payment agreement. For more information, see the Public Safety Officer Healthcare Tax Benefit page.
